Based in the pretty town of Dobbiaco, with easy access into this famous range of jagged peaks, we enjoy easy valley routes to Versciaco, next to the Austrian border, and up to the quaint village of Villabassa. Our walks discover some fascinating World War 1 history and reveal a strong mix of Austrian and Italian influences that make the South Tyrol such an appealing area to visit. Walking trails are very well maintained and there is an incredible variety of routes, including a winter walk to the stunning viewpoint of the most famous image of the Dolomites, Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Each evening we return to the welcoming hospitality of the Tschurtschenthaler family who have entertained our clients for many years on our cross- country skiing holidays. Situated on the northern edge of Italy's most stunning mountain range, in the Alta Pusteria Valley, we have access to many excellent areas for snowshoe exploration.
