Guide to grading Private Group Departures If you are booking as a group of 6 or more, we can offer you a private departure that can be customised to meet your needs. Whilst itineraries are generally based on those featured in this brochure, you can choose dates to fit in with your travel plans or adjust some aspects of the itinerary to meet the specific needs of your group. Many groups travel with us each year and enjoy the flexibility of travelling on their own private trip. We continue to arrange private departures for a range of groups and organisations including travel clubs, photography groups, schools, the military, and corporate and incentive groups. Our Group Sales team would be happy to meet with you to discuss any aspect of your proposed trip. If you would like us to arrange a private departure or would like some more information on what we can offer, please contact the Group Sales team on 0845 330 6009or email groups@ exodus. co. uk LEISURELY Leisurely grade trips are designed for people who are in good health and enjoy the outdoors. Moderate itineraries require good health and reasonable fitness. For any trip at this level or above, fitness is imperative. At this level we recommend previous experience of the activity involved. Guide to grading and activities PRIVATE DEPARTURES Choosing your trip 11 Culture Let Exodus show you a different side to many of the world's greatest cultural attractions. Relaxed Itinerary For those who prefer to take their time, these itineraries explore the world at a slower pace. Wildlife & Safaris Trips may be wholly wildlife focused, or contain an element of wildlife viewing within a less specific itinerary. Wilderness Visit the deserts, jungles, plateaux, tundra and mountains of all seven continents. Photography Fantastic opportunity to get behind the lens of your camera and get some expert advice from our award- winning photographers who run specialist travel photography holidays. Special Interest For those who have a passion for archaeology, food, flowers, languages or yoga. Solar eclipse departures and specialist conservation holidays are also included. Walking & Trekking Trips are wholly trekking- focused or simply include a significant number of walking days during the itinerary. Cycling Our cycling holidays come in all shapes and sizes; from gentle Self- Guided trips in the Veneto, to tackling the High Atlas in Morocco, or exploring the length of Vietnam. Winter Activities It's about seeking out alternative ways to have fun in the snow - a different winter experience! Mixed Activities Activities may range from the ordinary ( such as walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the down right extraordinary ( including caving, camel riding or canyoning). Serious Adventure These trips are more adventurous but the challenge is always worth it! New Trips Exodus is always looking to improve our current itineraries and to offer something different. This year is no exception - with almost 30 new trips, we're sure you'll find that unique experience on one of the seven continents to which we travel. Not all our trips fit easily into these grades, therefore we use an intermediate grading system on certain trips ( for example, Leisurely/ Moderate or Moderate/ Challenging). 12 Europe " Good company, great scenery, an inspirational guide, too much lovely food. and a real Italian family welcome" Alison Brown, Tuscan Delights |
